What do you enjoy most about working at ELI?
My job in administration allows me to interact daily with students from around the world. I am learning much about cross-cultural communication (often through my failures 😊). I consider it a privilege to help our students, faculty and staff accomplish their goals by providing timely administrative support.
What advice do you give to new ELI students?
Realize that your first term in Knoxville will be one of many adjustments – physically, socially, emotionally, academically. It will take time and energy to figure out how to live in your new surroundings. You may feel disoriented and overwhelmed at times but be encouraged! You are not alone! Many Americans are eager to get to know you and help you in any way they can. Make a friend. A friend will help you adjust more quickly to your new home. Knoxville is a great place to live and we are glad you chose to live here too!
What is your favorite spot on campus?
Neyland Stadium on a football Saturday
