Meet Younhee from Seoul, South Korea. Younhee attended the ELI for four terms in 2014. After the ELI, she returned to Korea and now works in customer service at the National Theater of Korea, a performing arts theater in Seoul. Her experience at the ELI has really helped her. She said that:
“Many foreigners visit the theater. I am not afraid of conversation with them after ELI. At the ELI, I could also learn about many other cultures. I am ready to accept a new one at any time. It’s very wonderful.”
That is a remarkable thing to say! The international atmosphere at the ELI helps us learn about and appreciate each other’s cultures. It is an important experience and we are glad Younhee was a part of it.
