Speaking Your Best English: Using Stress Patterns and Rhythms for Better Pronunciation

The key to speaking comprehensible English is not only producing individual sounds such as /r/ or /l/, but accurately using the strong stress and rhythm patterns that make English a musical-sounding language. You will learn how to speak more rhythmically, increasing the chances that Americans will understand what you are saying.

Date: October 29 (Tuesday)

Time: 2-3:30PM

Place: International House, Great Room

Cost: $30

To participate you must register in advance and pay at this link.

Presenter: Em Turner Chitty, Senior Teaching Associate, English Language Institute
